It All Started with A Young Army Veteran
In 1958, a young army veteran named Jerry Friedman needed a way to provide for his family. He discovered the art of building pools, which evolved into pool renovations and installations of vinyl liners.
In 1969, his 8-year-old son David began working with Jerry during the summer, learning every aspect of the business, including sales, construction, labor, equipment purchasing, experimentation, innovation, and above all, “to honor one’s commitments.”
By the time David entered Rutgers University School of Engineering, he had 10 years of practical experience. Improving upon his father’s methods, as well as developing new techniques of his own, David took over the business in 1982 with a vision that transformed Mid State into the company it is today.

I’ve attached some pics of the process, for reference this pool is 18’45’ double roman end, around 28K gallons, and we did not have to top off the water after they finished.
